Collection of personal information
When you engage in certain activities on this site, such as ordering products, downloading software, or entering contests,Host Nagar may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, Host Nagar may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including zip code), e-mail address, telephone and other numbers, and other personal identifying information. When ordering products or services on the site, you may be asked to provide a credit card number. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.
In the process of administering our site, we maintain and track usage through Web server logs. Web server logs provide such information as what types of browsers are accessing our site, what pages receive high traffic, and the times of day our servers experience significant load. We use this information to improve the content and navigation features of our site. It is not used to personally identify you.
How your personal information is used
Host Nagar collects your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. The information that you provide is also used as part of our effort to keep you informed about special offers and other products and services of Host Nagar and selected third parties.
We will not sell, rent or lease to others telephone numbers or e-mail addresses. We will share the personal data you provide only with other Host Nagar entities and/or business partners who are acting on our behalf for the uses described above.
Host Nagar will use and share the personally identifiable information you provided to us in ways related to those described above. We reserve the right to disclose any and all pertinent customer information to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate.
Payments and Fees: Checks and Drafts returned for any reason are subject to returned item charge. Service will be interrupted on accounts that reach 7 days past due. Service interrupted for nonpayment may be subject to a reconnect charge fixed at the sole discretion of Host Nagar. Accounts not paid by due date may be subject to a late fee at the sole discretion of Host Nagar. If you desire to cancel your account, please raise a ticket in the member control panel 30 days in advance. Failure to notify cancellation in advance would result in services billed and payable for the next period..
Failure to Pay: The Company may temporarily deny all services provided or terminate this Agreement upon the failure of customer/Subscriber to pay charges when due. Such termination or denial will not relieve customer/Subscriber of responsibility for the payment of all accrued charges, plus reasonable interest and any collection fees.
Bulk Email & Blacklisting:
We understands that bulk email is an important mechanism for keeping people informed. However, spamming from our IP, and spamvertising (unsolicited advertising of) sites hosted on our servers, is prohibited. Legitimate bulk email meets the following criteria:
i) ALL recipients have confirmed willingness to be added to a distribution list by clicking on confirmation links or (preferably) by responding to verification emails.
ii) Distributed messages include valid headers, removal instructions, and information on the method by which the subscribed addresses were obtained.
The usage of partially confirmed recipient lists is not allowed. All bulk email senders must post privacy policies and must be clearly identified to recipients during the subscription and confirmation process. The usage of third-party distribution lists is prohibited. If Host Nagar approaches a client for evidence of confirmation, the request must be honored within 48 hours of the initial spam alert. Deactivation of an account or service may be required, until proof of confirmation is provided and approved. Host Nagar reserves the right to require termination of any services involved in the transmission of unsolicited email. If any activities lead to blacklisting, the involved client/reseller may be charged an abuse fee of Rs. 5000.00.
All necessary reminders shall be mailed to clients for renewals, however, if due to spam filters or technical problems, in case clients report non-receipt of reminder mails, the company cannot and shall not be held accountable for suspension or termination of an account due to non-renewal. It is the owner’s responsibility to make timely renewal payments upon year end or as the case may be to avoid suspension or termination of account.
In case of renewals for Dedicated Hosting, if the renewal remains overdue on 7th day, the hosting account will be suspended and if it is overdue on 10th day, the account shall be terminated. It would be the client’s responsibility and the company’s, to take necessary backup of data before overdue 10th day. In case the data gets lost owing to any delay in renewals, the responsibility would entirely be of clients and no dispute tickets or complaints shall be entertained by the company at any level.
Upon expiry of a domain, the registrar shall have every right to put a default parking page with its own advertisements on it. Clients acknowledge and accept the fact that in case of expired domains, restoration of domains after renewal may take at least five to ten days due to propagation factors or registrar problems. The restoration charges of a domain during redemption period would be applicable as per registrar’s policy and might be even a little higher.
Account Cancellation: Requests for canceling accounts may be made in writing with at least 30 days notice but not more than 60 days prior written notice and by the Subscribers / Customers through the member control panel
Only the authorized account holder or a authorized contact may cancel the account. Authorized contacts are appointed only by the account holder. In the event of cancellation, customer will automatically be billed for any excess usage during the then-current calendar month.
